AUGUST 2007 THE SUMMER COLLECTION Our ‘Summer Collection’ this year has a fresh, airy feeling. We are showcasing paintings, prints, ceramics & etchings from established artists, depicting images from the sea and coastline. The collection includes some delightful etchings of children on the beach, from local artist Greta Hansen, digital images of boats and the shoreline, from photographer, Alan Bedding and a wide variety of ceramic sculptures & pictures from ceramicist, Richard Goodwin-Jones. Richard’s ceramics are mostly fumed raku, an exciting process which is sometimes quite surprising, as the very nature of this process is often unpredictable. Alongside Richards’ raku boat sculptures, we have ceramic fish forms from artist in residence, Jean Muir. The collection runs until 8th September 2007. SEPTEMBER 2007 LIFE IN THE COUNTRY - A new collection of paintings by local artist Lucy Grossmith September 29th - October 27th 2007 Coming in September, a new collection of paintings by local artist Lucy Grossmith entitled 'Life in the Country'. The new collection will feature all aspects of country life; people, places & animals. Lucy's previous exhibition with the JM Gallery was hugely popular, so be sure to view early.
